Theneutralswitchesarenormallyopenproximityswitches.Theswitchesare
attachedtoabracketslocatedbelowthecontrolpanel,oneoneachsideofthe
machine.Thesensingplatethattriggerstheswitchisthetractioncontrollever
forthatside.WhenthetractioncontrolleverismovedtoaFORWARDorREVERSE
position,thesensingplatemovesawayfromthetargetendoftheneutralswitch
sotheswitchopens.ThetractioncontrolleverreturnstotheNEUTRALposition
(closingtheswitch)bytheRTNassemblyofthepiston(traction)pump..
Thehourmeter/controllermonitorsthepositionoftheneutralswitches.Bothof
theneutralswitchesmustbeclosed(bothtractioncontrolleversintheNEUTRAL
position)tostarttheengine.
