1.Raisetherearofthemachine;refertoJackingInstructions(page1–6).
2.Drainthehydraulicreservoir;refertothetractionunitOperatorsManual.
3.ReadandadheretotheinformationprovidedinGeneralPrecautionsfor
RemovingandInstallingtheHydraulicSystemComponents(page5–46).
4.Cleantheareaaroundthehydraulichoseandttingconnectionsthen
disconnectorremovethehydraulichosesfromthegearpump.Caporplug
thedisconnectedhydraulichosesandttingstopreventhydraulicsystem
contamination.
5.Removethefastenerssecuringthegearpumptotheleftsidepiston(traction)
pumpandseparatethegearpumpfromthetractionpump.LocateO-ring
andshaftcouplerfrombetweenthepumpsanddiscardtheO-ring.
6.Ifnecessary,removethehydraulicttingsfromthepump.Recordthe
locationsandorientationsofthettingsforassemblypurposes.
7.RemoveanddiscardalltheO-ringsfromthehydraulicandttingsthatwere
disconnectedorremoved.
