Theportsonthelasercontrolmanifoldaremarkedforeasyidenticationof
componentsandconnections.Example:SVisthelocationforthesolenoidvalve
andSPisthelocationforthesolenoidcontrolledproportionalvalve.
Thelasercontrolmanifoldincludeseveralzero−leakplugs.Theseplugshave
ataperedsealingsurfaceontheplugheadthatisdesignedtoresistvibration
inducedplugloosening.Thezero−leakplugsalsohaveanO−ringasa
secondaryseal.Ifremovingazero−leakplugisnecessary,lightlyraptheplug
headusingapunchandhammerbeforeusingahexwrenchtoremovetheplug:
theimpactwillallowplugremovalwithlesschanceofdamagetothesocket
headoftheplug.Discard,donotreusezero-leakplugs.Tightentheplugstothe
torquevalueprovided.
