controllerisavailableatalltimes(unswitched).Thecontrollercircuitisprotected
bya10Ampfuse(F2).
Thehourmeter/controllerpreformsthefollowingfunctions:
•Displaysthetotalhoursofengineoperation
•Displaysthecurrentpositionoftheparkingbrake,tractioncontrollevers,and
theoperatorpresenceswitch(ifequipped)
•Includesachargingsystemlowvoltageindicator
•Providescontrolforthesafetyinterlocksystem
•Providesapathtogroundfortheengineignitioncircuit
•Energizestheenginefuelsolenoid
•Energizesthestartandwirelesshourmeterrelays
Note:Thehourmeter/controllerincludesaPTOpositionindicator.Theindicator
functionswhentheauxiliaryswitchconnectorisused.Theindicatorisnotused
onstandardmachines.
WiththekeyswitchintheONposition,theindicatorlightsofthehour
meter/controllercanbeusedtotesttheparkingbrakeswitch,neutralswitch,and
operatorpresenceswitch(ifequipped)circuitoperation.
Thereisnomethodtotestthehourmeter/controllerdirectly.Becauseofthesolid
statecircuitrybuiltintothecontroller,thecontrollermaybedamagedifanattempt
ismadetotestitwithanelectricaltestdevice(e.g.digitalmultimeterortestlight).
