TestingtheFuses
1.TurnthekeyswitchtotheONposition(donotstarttheengine).
2.Withthefuseinstalledinthefuseholder/block,useamultimetertocheck
that12VDCexistsatbothoftheterminaltestpointsonthefuse.If12VDC
existsat1ofthefusetestpointsbutnotattheother,thefuseisdamaged.
3.SetthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandremovethekeyfromthekey
switch.
4.Removethefusefromthefuseblockanduseamultimeter(ohmssetting)to
checkthatthefusehascontinuityacrossthefuseterminals.
5.Ifthefusetestscorrectlyandacircuitproblemstillexists,checkthewire
harness;refertoAppendixA(pageA–1).
