CAUTION
Theinterlocksystemisfortheoperator’sprotection;donotbypass
anyoftheinterlocksystemcomponents.Checktheoperationofthe
interlocksystemdailytoassurethesystemisoperatingcorrectly.
Ifaninterlocksystemcomponentisoutofadjustmentordefective,
replaceitbeforeoperatingthemachine.
Thepurposeoftheinterlocksystemistopreventtheenginefromstartingif:
•theparkingbrakeisdisengaged
•thetractioncontrolleversarenotintheNEUTRALposition
•themachineisequippedwithanoperatorpresenceswitchandtheoperator
isnotontheoperatorplatform
Totesttheinterlocksystem:
1.Trytostarttheenginewiththeparkingbrakedisengaged;theengineshould
notstart.
2.TrytostarttheenginewitheithertractioncontrolleverintheFORWARDor
REVERSEposition;theengineshouldnotstart.
3.Ifthemachineisequippedwithanoperatorpresenceswitch,trytostartthe
enginewithoutstandingontheoperatorplatform;theengineshouldnotstart.
IMPORTANT
Adjustorrepairanyoftheinterlocksystemcomponentsas
necessarysoalloftheinterlocksystemoperationsfunctioncorrectly
beforereturningthemachinetoservice.
