Theoperatorpresenceiscurrentlypartoftheoptionallaserlevelinstallationkit.
Theoperatorpresenceswitchisanormallyopenproximityswitchthatislocated
neartherightsidepivotoftheoperatorplatform.Thesensingplatethattriggers
theswitchisattachedtotheoperatorplatform.Whenanoperatorstepson
theplatform,thesensingplatemovestowardthesensingzoneoftheoperator
presenceswitchsotheswitchcloses.
Thehourmeter/controllermonitorsthepositionoftheoperatorpresenceswitch.
Theoperatorpresenceswitchmustbeclosed(operatorontheplatform)to
starttheengine.
TestingtheOperatorPresenceSwitch
Theoperatorpresenceswitchanditscircuitwiringcanbetestedusingthehour
meter/controllerdisplaywhenthekeyswitchisintheONposition.Iftesting
determinesthattheswitchorthecircuitwiringarenotfunctioningcorrectly,
proceedwiththefollowingtestprocedure:
1.Removethehydraulicuidcoolershroudtoaccesstheoperatorpresence
switch.
