WARNING
•Wearsafetygogglesandrubbergloveswhenworkingwith
electrolyte.
•Chargebatteryinawellventilatedplacesogassesproduced
whilechargingcandissipate.
•Sincethegasesareexplosive,keepopenamesandelectrical
sparksawayfromthebattery;donotsmoke.
•Nauseamayresultifthegasesareinhaled.
•Unplugchargerfromelectricaloutletbeforeconnectingor
disconnectingchargerleadstoorfrombatteryposts.
1.Whenusingamaintainablebattery,thebattery-electrolytemustbekeptat
theproperlevel.
A.Checkthebattery-electrolytelevelevery25operatinghoursandevery
30daysifmachineisinstorage.
Note:Donotllthecellsabovethellline.
B.Maintainthecelllevelwiththedistilledordemineralizedwater.
2.Ifthemachineisstoredinalocationwherethetemperaturesareextremely
high,thebatterywilldischargemorerapidlythanifthemachineisstoredina
locationwherethetemperaturesarecool.
3.Checkbatteryconditionweeklyorafterevery50hoursofoperation.Keep
terminalsandentirebatterycasecleanbecauseadirtybatterywilldischarge
slowly.

personalinjuryand/ordamagetotheelectricalsystem.
Ensurethatthecablesareproperlyconnectedtothecorrectbattery
postsbeforeoperatingthemachine.
4.Tightenthebatterycablesonthebatteryterminalstoprovideagood
electricalcontact.
