beapproximately8.8ohmswhentestedat20°C(68°F).Measurethe
resistanceacrossthecoilterminalsinbothdirections.Thespecied
resistanceshouldonlybeobtainableinonedirection,conrmingthatboth
thecoilandthediodearefunctioningproperly.
B.ThecoilsofsolenoidproportionalvalveSPonthelasercontrolmanifold
arethesame.Resistanceofthesecoilsshouldbeapproximately8.8
ohmswhentestedat20°C(68°F).
3.Replacesolenoidvalvecoilsifnecessary:
A.Removethenutfromthehydraulicvalve.
B.Slidethesolenoidcoilfromthevalve.
C.Cleananycorrosionordirtfromthevalvestem.
D.Installthecoilandthenutontothevalveandtightennutto7N∙m(60
in-lb).
4.Ifthesolenoidcoilresistanceiscorrectandacircuitproblemstillexists,
checkthewireharness;refertoAppendixA(pageA–1).
5.Aftertestingiscompleted,connectthewireharnessconnectortothe
solenoidcoil.
