RemovingandInstallingtheParkingBrakeLinkage
RefertoFigure84forthisprocedure.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,loweranyattachmenttotheground,set
thekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionandremovethekeyfromtheswitch.
2.Removethehood.
3.Ensurethattheparkingbrakeisdisengaged.
4.Removetheangenutandcompressionspringfromthebottomofeach
brakelink.
5.Movethebrakeleverforwardandremovethefastenerssecuringthebrake
linkstothebrakeshaft.Removethebrakelinksfromthemachine.
6.Removethefastenerssecuringtheangebearingsandswitchbracket(left
sideonly)thenremovethebearingsandbrakeshaftfromthemachine.
7.Continuetoremovetheparkingbrakelinkagecomponentsasneeded.
