1.LubricatenewO-ringsandplacethemontothettings.Ifpreviouslyremoved,
installthettingsintothepumpports.Tightentheelbowttingfrom42to47
N·m(31to35ft-lb),andthebarbttingfrom28to31N·m(21to23ft-lb).
2.ApplycleanpetroleumjellyorlightgreasetoanewO-ring(item3)and
positiontheO-ringontothegearpumpange.
3.Withtheshaftcouplerinstalledbetweenthepumps,alignthegearpump
shaftandslidethegearpumpintothecoupler.
4.Securethegearpumptothepistonpumpwiththepreviouslyremoved
fasteners.
5.Removethecapsandplugsfromthehydraulicttingsandhydraulichoses
theninstallthehydraulichoses;refertoInstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes
(O-RingFaceSealFitting)(page5–8).
6.Primethehydraulicpump;refertoPrimingtheHydraulicSystem(page5–54).
7.Chargethehydraulicsystem;refertoChargingtheHydraulicSystem(page
5–55).
