systemcontamination.
7.Removethehydraulicreservoirfromthemachine.
8.Remove,clean,andinspectthesuctionstrainer.DiscardtheO-ring.
9.Cleanhydraulicreservoirwithsolvent.
10.Recordthettinglocationandorientationandremovethehydraulicttings
ifnecessary.DiscardtheO-rings.
11.Inspectreservoirforleaks,cracksorotherdamage.
12.Checkthemountingbumperonthemachinefenderforwearordamageand
replaceifnecessary.
InstallingtheHydraulicReservoir
1.Ifpreviouslyremoved,usenewO-ringsandinstallthehydraulicttingsand
suctionstrainer.Tightenthettingsandsuctionstrainertothetorquevalues
speciedinFigure45.
2.Fitthehydraulicreservoirtothemachineandconnectthepreviously
removedhydraulichoses;refertoInstallingHydraulicHosesandTubes
(O-RingFaceSealFitting)(page5–8).
3.Positionthehydraulicreservoirsecurelyoverthemountingbumperand
installtheclampatthetopofthereservoir.
4.Installthebatterytray.
5.Installthebattery;refertoRemovingandInstallingtheBattery(page6–29).
6.Fillthehydraulicreservoirwiththeappropriatehydraulicuid;refertothe
tractionunitOperatorsManual.
7.Operatethemachineandcheckforandcorrectanyleaksbeforereturning
themachinetoservice.
