4.Installthepressureseals,atsideoutward,intothegroovesinthethrust
plates.Followbycarefullyplacingtheuni-rings,atsideoutward,between
thepressuresealsandthegroovesinthethrustplate.
5.Applyalightcoatingofpetroleumjellytotheexposedsideofthefrontcover.
6.Lubricatethedriveshaft/gearwithcleanhydraulicoil.Insertthedriveendof
thedriveshaftthroughthethrustplatewiththepressuresealsidedownand
theopensideofthepressuresealpointingtotheinletsideofthepump.Fit
thedriveshaft/gearintothefrontcover.
7.Lubricatetheidlershaft/gearwithcleanhydraulicoil.Alignthegearteeth
positionmarkingsmadeduringdisassemblyandinstalltheidlergearshaft
intothefrontthrustplateandfrontcover.Applyalightcoatingofclean
hydraulicoiltothegearfaces.
8.Installtherearthrustplatewiththepressuresealsideupandtheopenside
ofthepressuresealpointingtotheinletsideofthepump.
9.Installthedowelpinsinthebody.
10.Applyalightcoatingofpetroleumjellytothenewbodysealsandbodyseal
groovesinthebody.Installthenewbodysealsintothebody.
IMPORTANT
Donotdislodgesealsduringinstallation.
11.Alignthemarkerlinesandslidethebodyoverthegearassembly.
12.Installdowelpinsinrearcover.
13.Alignthemarkerlinesandslidetherearcoverovertheshaftends.
14.Installthe4capscrewswithwashersandhandtighten.
15.Placethefrontcoverofthepumpintoavisewithsoftjawsanduseacrossing
patterntotightenthecapscrewsto25N∙m(18ft-lb).
16.Placeasmallamountofcleanhydraulicoilinthepumpinletandrotatethe
driveshaftclockwiseonerevolution.Ifanybindingisnoted,disassemblethe
pumpandcheckforassemblyproblems.
