whileenergizedprocedure5or6times.Removethesolenoidfromthe
cartridge.
8.Installthecartridgevalve:
A.LubricatethenewO-ringsandthebackupringsofthesealkitwithclean
hydraulicuidandinstallthemonthecartridgevalve.TheO-ringsandthe
backupringsmustbearrangedcorrectlyonthecartridgevalveforproper
operationandsealing;refertonotestakenduringthesealremoval.
IMPORTANT
Usecarewheninstallingthecartridgevalve.Slightbendingor
distortionofthestemtubecancausebindingandmalfunction.
Makesurethatdeepwellsocketfullyengagesthevalvebase.
B.Lubricatethethreadsonthecartridgevalvewithcleanhydraulicuid.
Threadthecartridgevalvecarefullyintothecorrectmanifoldport.The
valveshouldthreadineasilywithoutbinding.
C.Tightenthecartridgevalveusingadeepwellsockettothespecied
torque;refertoFigure64.
D.Forsolenoidvalves,slidethesolenoidcoilontothecartridgevalve.
Tightenthecoilnuttothespeciedtorque;refertoFigure64.
9.Ifaproblemstillexists,removethevalveandcleanitagainorreplacethe
valve.
