1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,engagetheparkingbrake,setthekey
switchtotheOFFpositionandremovekeyfromtheswitch.
2.Removethehood.
3.Recordfuelhoseandevaporativecontrolsystemhoseandclamp
routing/locationforinstallationpurposes.
4.Closethefuelshutoffvalve.
Note:Coverorplugdisconnectedhosesandttingstopreventcontamination
fromenteringthefuelsystem.
5.Disconnectthefuelsupplyventhosesfromthetopofthefueltank.
6.Cleanupanyspilledfuel.
7.Removethefastenerandclampfromthetopofthefueltankandliftthe
fueltankassemblyfromthemachine.
8.Disassemblethefueltankasnecessary.
9.Checkthefuelsupply,venttting,andfuelgaugegrommetsforwearor
damageandreplaceifnecessary.
10.Checkthemountingbumperonthemachinefenderforwearordamageand
replaceifnecessary.
