Note:Theenginewillstopifthebrakeisengagedandatractioncontrollever
ismovedoutoftheNEUTRALposition.
11.Starttheengineandrunitatlow-idlespeed.Correctanyhydraulicuidleaks
atthetestconnectionsbeforecontinuingthetest.
12.Setthethrottletothefullspeed(3,575to3,725RPM).Useanon-contact
tachometertoverifytheengineRPM.
13.Makesurehydraulicuidisatnormaloperatingtemperaturebyoperatingthe
machineforapproximately5minutes.
14.Recordthereadingonthepressuregaugeatthetesttting(notthepressure
gaugeontheowmeter).Thechargepressure(withoutload)shouldread
approximately620kPa(90psi).Ifthechargepressurespecicationisnot
met,considerthefollowing:
A.Thechargereliefvalveintheintherightsidetractionpumpisdamaged.
Replaceorrepairthevalveasnecessary;refertoServicingthePiston
(Traction)Pumps(page5–64).
B.Therightsidetractionpumpchargepumpisfaulty.Replaceorrepair
thechargepumpassemblyasnecessary;refertoServicingthePiston
(Traction)Pumps(page5–64).
CAUTION
Useextremecautionwhenperformingthetest.Therightsiderear
wheelwillbetryingtomovethemachineforward.
