Examining and Adjusting Printhead Position:
1) Module-to-Module Adjustment
This adjustment is to align the relative print positions of 2 Print Modules to
each other. The relative print positions in the feeding direction can be
examined in the "KV" scale. For example shown in the figure, the 2 elements
are in line at "+2". Thus, the adjustment value is "+2".
The relative print positions in the cross-feeding direction can be examined in
the "KH" scale. For the example shown in the figure, the 2 elements are in line
at "+2". The adjustment value is therefore "+2".
2) Head Position Adjustment
This adjustment is to align the relative color registrations in all the printheads.
The relative color registrations in the feeding direction can be examined in the
"xxV" scale and the ones in the cross-feeding direction can be examined in the
"xxH" scale.
