Note: Whenever connecting a USB cable to the printer, put the USB cable in
the cable clamps as shown in the figure.
Connect a LAN cable
Connect the LAN cable to the printer, as shown in the figure, and then the
computer.
Note: Please consult your network administrator when connecting to an office
LAN.
Note: If a printer driver has not been installed in the computer to which you
want to connect your printer, install it before connecting the USB cable or LAN
cable.

1. Turn on the power switch.
When the [STATUS] lamp which has been blinking stays lit, the printer is
ready for printing.
