4.4.4 Check Watch Table
The Watch Table in a receiver must be setup in VUE before deployment. With this table of tags to “watch”
in place, the receiver can report if one of the up to 128 tags (up to 192 for an HR2 receiver) in the Watch
Table was in the area, approximately how many times that tag was detected, and the approximate time of the
last detection.
STEP 1
Select “Status…”
from the list, or
press the “1” button
on the keypad to
display the list of
status options (on right).
STEP 2
Select “Watch
Table” (#4) to get
an idea of the
number of
detections stored
in the memory.
STEP 3 (HR2 only)
Select “Query” (#2) and then enter the
Watch Table Index number associated with
the desired tag on the keypad (1-192, for
HR2 only), or press the up arrow until you reach the Index number.
To continue, click “Send”.
STEP 3
Enter the Watch Table Index number associated with the desired tag on
the keypad (1 – 128), or press the up arrow until you reach the Index
number. Select “Send”. TIP: Keep a copy of the table and select the
desired number on the keypad instead of using the arrow buttons.
STEP 4
Wait while the information passes between the VR100 and the receiver.
The result will be shown on the VR100 screen as shown. In this
example, the tag is Index number 3.
STEP 5 (HR2 only)
For an HR2, you can also read the Total Hits (#1), read the Tag ID (#3), and read the Signal Stats
(signal in dB and quality from 1 to 10). NOTE: “Total Hits” represents the sum of detections in the
entire Watch Table (i.e. “are any of my Watch Table tags getting detected?”). The “Signal Stats” also
applies for each Watch Table entry, so that you can get some idea of how well a particular tag is
being detected.

Use the MENU button to return to the main transponding screen.
