Setting the Answer Position for Day and Evening via PC-DBA (continued)
If there are additional daytime ringing positions:
4) Select the appropriate information for Day 2 through Day 6 fields (as needed) in the corresponding fields
as shown above.
5) Click the Update button to enter your settings into the database on the local disk.
• Use the procedure shown above to assign day and evening answer positions to other CO lines.
When you are finished:
6) Click the Close button to exit the current screen and return to the PC-DBA main screen.
7) Perform a SEND to copy the database changes to the DX-120 switch system memory.
NOTE
You can also set up a schedule so that the DX-120 automatically switches the CO line
answer position based on the time of day.

Day 1
The directory number you want to use for the first daytime ringing position for
this CO line.
• Valid directory numbers are as follows:
- extensions 101-204
- UCD numbers 410-433
- Virtual number 700-729
- The default is extension 101.
Eve
The directory number you want to use for the evening ringing position for this
CO line.
• Valid directory numbers are as follows.
- extensions 101-204
- UCD numbers 410-433
- virtual number 700-729
- The default is extension 101.
