Programming for a T1 Card via the DET (continued)
Setting the Frame Type:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 above):
4) Enter 07-03-02.
5) Press save to display Frame Type screen.
6) Press chg to select ESF.
• If you want to leave the setting at SF, skip to step 7.
IMPORTANT!
If you are programming for ISDN (T1/PRI) and not T1, be sure to leave this setting at
SF.
7) Press next to display EN Code screen (now go to step 6 in “Setting the EN Code:” below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
Setting the EN Code:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 159):
4) Enter 07-03-03.
5) Press save to display the EN Code screen.
6) Press chg to select AMI.
• If you want to leave the setting at B8ZS, skip to step 8.
IMPORTANT!
If you are programming for ISDN (T1/PRI) and not T1, be sure to leave this setting at
B8ZS.
7) Press next to display Loopback screen. (now go to step 6 in “Setting the LPBK (Loopback) Option:”
below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
