Setting the Account Code Length and Password via the DET (continued)
Setting the Password:
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 338):
4) Enter 05-02-02-XXX-01 (where XXX represents the row in the account code table: 001~600).
5) Press save to display the Password screen.
6) Press chg.
7) Enter the new password.
• Valid passwords are numbers from 0 to 9, containing as many digits as you specified for the length in
step 8.
• “NULL” = empty, which is the default.
8) Press Save to store the new password.
9) Press next to display the COS screen (now go to step 6 in “Setting the COS for an Account Code” below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
Setting the COS for an Account Code
From the DB Item Select screen (see steps 1 through 3 on page 338):
4) Enter 05-02-02-XXX-02 (where XXX represents the row in the account code table: 001~600).
5) Press save to display the Class of Service for this account code.
6) Press chg until you see the class you want to assign to this password.
7) Press next to display the Disabled screen (now go to step 6 in “Temporarily Disable the Account:” below).
OR
Press the volume UP button to return to the DB Item Selection screen.
OR
Exit programming (see “Exiting Database Administration” on page 27).
