Chapter 7, Using Vitals Desktop: Database File Location

Vitals Desktop will display the following dialog when
launched.

The standard location for the
Vitals database in the pro-
gram’s folder (Program Files/
Vitals Desktop/db/). How-
ever, you can save the file in
any directory or on a network
server.
To create a new database, click New. The Save As
dialog appears. Name the database, select a location
for it, and click
Save.

To find a database file, you
can search your computer
drive for any file with a “.vcd”
file extension.
To locate the existing database, click Open. The
Open File dialog appears; browse to the location of
the database file, click on the file to select it, and
click
Open.
