The Bluetooth module is
rated for operation from -4°F
to +122°F (-20°C to +50°C).
The HC-100 is a ruggedized handheld computer running the
Windows Embedded Handheld operating system. It is
waterproof and can be used in temperatures from -22°F to
+140°F (-30°C to +60°C). The HC-100 has integrated GPS
and Bluetooth connectivity. See specifications below.
You can use an external GPS unit for higher-resolution
mapping. Input requires NMEA-0183 data format, using
either Bluetooth or an RS-232 cable.
Connection Options
Connection between the HC-100 and E.H. Wachs valve
operating equipment is made using either the included 79-
302-10 Machine Control Cable or the embedded wireless
Bluetooth communication in the HC-100 (requires optional
Bluetooth module installed, and may require board upgrade
on older TM machines).
The HC-100 connects to the PC running Vitals Desktop
using a USB connection. You can connect the HC-100
directly to the PC USB port (using Windows Mobile Device
Center), or transfer data using a USB flash drive.
