Starting Up with
Vitals
You will need Internet access to download the Vitals instal-
lation file. You will also need a USB port to connect to the
HC-100 controller.
There are two steps to start up the Vitals 3.8.1 software.
You must perform them in this order:
1. Install Vitals Desktop. Run the Vitals 3.8.1 installer on
your Vitals Desktop Windows PC (Windows 7, 8, or
10). (You can download the installer from the Wachs
Utility website at
www.turnvalves.com.
• If you already have Vitals Desktop installed, down-
load and run the installer to update it to Version 3.8.
2. Initializing Vitals Mobile.
• For the TC-100 controller, start up and configure
your Windows account on the tablet. The TC-100
Quick Setup Guide included with your controller
has a link to detailed instructions on the Wachs Util-
ity website.
• Connect the HC-100 controller to your PC, using
the supplied USB cable, and follow the instructions
in the “Installing Vitals Mobile” section below.
