OUTSelect the alarm output to associate with the input sensor alarm. The outputs
are predefined via hardware, therefore the OUT number corresponds to the physical
alarm output port on the back panel of the DVR.

IPS – Displays the Images Per Second recording rate as set in the camera’s recording
options.
Preset – Select the preset to be
activated upon alarm. This feature requires a PTZ
camera and defined presets.
When selected, a PTZ camera will be moved to a specifi
c preset position when
associated alarm sensor is triggered. For example, you can program the DVR to
point to Preset 1 (e.g. Preset1 = Main Door) when alarm sensor 1 is triggered, and so
forth.
Dwell – Defines dwell time in seconds (1, 2,
3, 4, or 5) from the beginning of the
alarm. Dwell time applies to notifications and relay/alarm output durations. See
“Alarm Notifications” on page 2-36 for details.
NOTE
Even if the alarm event continues, the DVR will generate only 1 event and
relay/alarm output at the beginning of the alarm.
Pre-Alarm – This feature is currently not supported.
Type
– Set sensor input alarm to N/O (Normally Open) or N/C (Normally Closed).
1-8 – Click
to display sensors 1 through 8.
9-16
– Click to display sensors 9 through 16.
Notify – Click to configure
notifications. The sensors are independent of each other
and can be set up separately. See “Alarm Notifications” on page 2-36 for details.
Sensor Name – Click to
assign names to sensors.
Save – Click
to save the changes.
Cancel – Click to cancel t
he changes.
Close – Click to close the window.
