NOTE
The server must be running the SAgent software.
Add – Click to enter the IP address of the event server the IP address of the computer
running SAgent).
Modify
– Click to modify the IP address.
Delete –
Click to delete defined server from the list.
E-Mail
E-Mail – Select this check box to enable DVR email event notifications.
SMTP – E
nter SMTP information.
NOTE
E-mails without SMTP authentication are blocked by most e-mail servers.
From – Specify the source of the email (the name of this DVR).
To – Spec
ify the email address of the email recipient.
E-mail Test – Cl
ick to test current e-mail function.
Events – Click to set up alarm notificat
ions. The notifications will be sent to the
server via email. See “To configure network events:” on page 2-50 for details.
Other
Save – Click to save the changes.
Cancel – Click to cancel t
he changes.
Close – Click to close the window.

o configure network events:
1. From the Main menu select Ne
twork>Event Notification.
2. Click on the Events button.
3. Select the check boxes for the features you want to enable:
+ All - Click to select all available notifications
+ Log-in/out - Logging in and logging out notification.
+ Setup - Beginning and end of user setup notification.
+ System Start - System start notification.
+ Shutdown - DVR shutdown notification.
+ Sensor - Sensor alarm notification.
+ Motion Alarm - Motion alarm notification.
