11. Problem Solving
Stapler Faults
This section explains the problems that may arise from stapling.
Perform the procedures on the following pages when copies are
not stapled or when staples are bent. Contact the Customer
Support Center if the problem persists after you have tried these
solutions.
If staples are stapled on the copies in the manner shown in the
illustrations, contact the Customer Support Center.
KEY POINT: Remove the bent staple when opening the staple
cartridge cover. If you do not remove the bent staple, a
staple jam may occur as a result. Use the staple cartridge
cover only when removing the bent staple.
