20. Remove the DADF scan motor assembly, Figure 19.

Replacement
1. Replacement is the reverse of the removal procedure. When reconnecting the inline con-
nectors, ensure they are connected correctly:
• The pickup clutch connects to the black wires.
• The registration clutch connects to the green wires.
• The door open switch connects to the red wires.
2. Ensure the 3 ground harnesses are installed onto the document transport assembly.

Disconnect CN4.

Remove 4 screws, then the
DADF scan motor assembly.
If necessary, remove the
DADF motor (2 screws).

Remove 1 E-clip,
then the duplex
roll drive gear.

Disconnect CN5.

Remove 2 screws, then the
duplex motor assembly.

Remove the E-clip, then the bearing.

Remove the 2 E-clips,
the gear, then the
bearing.
3
Remove the exit roll, then the
exit assembly.
