POWER TRIM AND TILT (PTT) CONTROL SYSTEM
FUSES
Refer to “STARTING SYSTEM”.
BATTERY
Refer to “GENERAL” in chapter 3.
PTT MOTOR
Refer to “POWER TRIM AND TILT
(PTT) UNIT” in chapter 7.
PTT RELAYS
1. Check:
● PTT relay condition
Incorrect → Replace.
Checking steps:
● Connect the tester leads between the
PTT relay terminals as shown.
● Connect the Black (B) lead to the nega-
tive battery terminal.
● Connect the Sky blue (Sb) or Light
green (Lg) lead on each relay to the
positive battery terminal.
● Check that there is continuity between
the PTT relay terminals.
● Check that there is no continuity after
the (Sb)/(Lg) lead is removed.
