CRANKSHAFT INSPECTION
1.Measure:
●
Crankshaft runout
1
Out of specification
→
Replace crankshaft
and/or bearing.
NOTE:
Measure the crankshaft runout with the crank-
shaft assembly turning slowly.
2.Measure:
●
Big end side clearance
2
Out of specification
→
Replace big end bear-
ing, crank pin and/or connecting rod.
3.Measure:
●
Crank width
3
Out of specification
→
Replace crankshaft.
Runout limit:
0.03 mm
Big end side clearance:
0.35 ~ 0.85 mm
Crank width
69.25 ~ 69.30 mm
4.Inspect:
●
Bearing
1
Wear/crack/damage
→
Replace crankshaft.
