FRONT BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
1.Check:

Adjustment steps:
●
Loosen the locknut

Turn the adjuster

in or out until the speci-
fied free play is obtained.
●
Tighten the locknut.
CAUTION:
After adjusting the front brake lever free
play, make sure that there is no brake drag.
*****************************************************
Free play (brake lever):
2 ~ 5 mm (at brake lever end)
Turning in
brake lever free play is
decreased.
Turning out
brake lever free play is
increased.
BRAKE PAD INSPECTION
1.Operate the brake lever.
2.Inspect:
●
Brake pad
Wear indicators
1
almost touch the brake
disc
→
Replace the brake pads as set.
Refer to the “BRAKE PAD PEPLCEMENT”
section in CHPTER 6.
