VALVES AND VALVE SPRINGS
VALVE AND VALVE SPRINGS REMOVAL
NOTE:
●
Prior to remove the valves, remove the cylin-
der head, rocker arm and camshaft.
●
Before removing the internal parts (Valve,
valve spring, valve seat etc.) of the cylinder
head, the valve sealing should be checked.
1.Check:
●
Valve sealing
Leakage at valve seat
→
Inspect the valve
face, valve seat and valve seat width.
Refer to the “VALVE SEATS INSPECTION”
section.

Valve seat checking steps:
●
Pour a clean solvent

into the intake and
exhaust ports.
●
Check the valve seating.
There should be no leakage at the valve seat
