Why is there speed deviation in my YASKAWA DC Drives?
- TTerrance PayneJul 28, 2025
Speed deviation in YASKAWA DC Drives can occur if the load is too heavy; in this case, decrease the load. It may also happen if acceleration and deceleration times are set too short; increase the values set in C1-01 [Accel Time 1] to C1-08 [Decel Time 4]. Incorrect dEv detection level settings can also cause this; adjust F1-10 [Speed Dev Level] and F1-11 [Speed Dev Delay Time]. A locked-up load or the holding brake stopping the motor can also be causes; examine the machine or release the holding brake, respectively.
