Replacement Procedures for the Printer

Procedures: Print Engine

Step 2. Disconnect J4 and J5 (arrows below).

Step 3. With a TORX T10 driver, remove the two screws holding the Media

Authentication PCBA in place; circled above.

Step 4. Remove the Media Authentication PCBA, and set it aside.

Spindle Clutch Assembly

Step 1. Remove the retaining ring/clip (circled below).

Step 2. With a TORX T10 driver, remove the four screws holding the Bearing Plate in

place—see arrows above.

Step 3. Remove the Bearing Plate, and set it aside.
