Replacement Procedures for the Printer
Procedures: Print Engine
Platen Drive Motor
Important • When replacing the motor, the belt (included in the same spare parts kit)
must also be replaced.
Step 1. Disconnect the plug at the motor.
Step 2. With a TORX T10 driver, remove the two screws holding the platen drive
motor in place.
Step 3. Remove the platen drive motor.
Step 4. Remove the two screws holding the dampener in place.
Step 5. Remove the drive belt from the drive pulley.
