Replacement Procedures for the Printer
Procedures: Print Engine
Print Engine Platen Rollers
Printhead Lift Gears
Important • Before removal, note the orientation of each gear. If the orientation is not
correct when reinstalling the gears, the printer will not print or even synchronize.
Step 1. Locate the Gears.

Step 2. With a TORX T8 driver, remove the screws holding
Step 3. Gears 1 and 6 in place.
Step 4. Remove the retaining clips holding Gears 2 and 5 in place.
Step 5. With a TORX T10 driver, remove the screw holding Gear 3 in place.
Step 6. With a TORX T10 driver, remove the screw holding Gear 4 in place.
Step 7. Remove the Gears and Belts, and set them aside.
