Note: The inputs identified as fixed connections cannot be changed. They are
listed for information only.
Table 126 Three State Pulse Parameters.
Table 127 Three State Pulse Outputs.
The parameter Deadband sets the sensitivity of the Three State Pulse output in
conjunction with the PID algorithm. As long as the difference between the
Process Value and Set Point signals is less than the configured deadband no
change is made to the Three State Pulse output signals. This applies to Auto
Control mode. A similar parameter, Hysteresis is described below.
Note: The Three State Pulse output cannot be used with a P-controller (TIx = Off
and TDx = 0.0). If you configure such a set up the signal DeltaU will remain
constant at zero.
When using the Three State Pulse output without feedback the following
functions are not available:
• RestartBehavior
• Forced Output
• ErrorBehavior
