Control Signal Limit
Non Auto Mode
Non-Auto mode comprises the following Control modes:
•Manual
Forced Output
No Feedback
In Non-Auto mode with no feedback, the Out bar graph is 0.0% and the display
shows Inc/Dec signal. The internal variable DeltaU
3P
is calculated as follows:
DeltaU
3P
= ControlSignal
k
– ControlSignal
k-1
where ControlSignal
k
is the control signal of the current sample and
ControlSignal
k-1
is the control signal of the previous sample.
In Auto-mode with no feedback, the Out bar graph shows 0.0% for the
ControlSignal value. The internal variable DeltaU
3P
is calculated as follows:
DeltaU
3P
= DeltaU
COx
Using Feedback
When using Three State Pulse with feedback, there are five different control
modes, see table below.
Manual
mode
In Manual Mode you can increase/decrease the output signal
by pressing the Up/Down buttons. The digital outputs are
activated as long as the button is pressed.
Auto-mode In Auto-Mode the controller works as normal and the
feedback signal is shown on the Output bar graph.
Forced
*
mode
If Forced Mode is used (and activated), the controller tries to
force the feedback signal to the selected Forced Value by
activating the Increase/Decrease outputs. This continues until
the Forced Mode is left (not activated).
