3.6 Setting the Configuration Chapter 3: Configuration
172 493-0736-11 (6-2)
With Feedback and when in Non-Auto mode the internal variable DeltaU
3P
is
calculated as follows:
DeltaU
3P
= ControlSignal – FeedbackSignal
When in Auto-mode the Out bar graph shows the FeedbackSignal and the internal
variable DeltaU
3P
is calculated as follows:
DeltaU
3P
= DeltaU
COx
When switching from Auto to Non-Auto control modes a bumpless transfer is
ensured by setting:
ControlSignal = FeedbackSignal
Split Range
The Split Range output has one analog input, Signal, and two analog outputs,
Val ue 1 and Va lu e2. It also holds eight analog parameters, MinIn1, MaxIn1,
MinOut1, MaxOut1, MinIn2, MaxIn2, MinOut2 and MaxOut2.
Restart
Behavior*
(to manual
mode)
When the controller is restarted and the restart mode is
Manual, the controller tries to force the feedback signal to the
selected Restart Value by activating the Increase/Decrease
outputs. This continues until the feedback signal is within the
selected Hysteresis. The controller will then go to Manual
mode.
Error
Behavior*
mode
If an Error arises (for the selected loop), the controller will try
to force the feedback signal to the selected Error Value by
activating the Increase/Decrease outputs. This will continue
until the error is acknowledged.
*. See Output Configuration on page 155.
