Digital Input Communications Buffers
Remote digital communication is provided by Digital Input Communications
Buffers (DIC). Via communication a master can feed digital values to the
controller. This is done by writing a bit value into the I/O bit area.
Each Digital Communications Buffer represents a I/O bit.
To configure a Digital Communications Buffer for use, set the parameter Mode to
on. To deselect a digital buffer, set the parameter Mode to Off.
Each block may be given a twenty letter identification name by configuring the
parameter Identity.
Each buffer corresponds to one unique I/O bit.
Note. See Appendix E for a full list of I/O bits and their addresses.
