4 Commissioning
4.1 Preparations
Before the track motion is put in service the system must be prepared. The following
steps must be carried out before starting the track motion.

1. Configure the control
equipment
Load the operating parameters and configure the control
equipment in accordance with "Load the operating
parameters" on page 2 - 40.
2. Correct levelled and
installed Track Motion
Correct the Track Motion according to "Stand assembly"
on page2-8.
3. Activate the lubrication
system
Activate the automatic lubrication system according to
"Activating the automatic lubrication system" on
page 2 - 41.
4. Check lubrication system Functional test of the Trabon lubrication system
according to "Functionality test of the Trabon lubrication
system" on page 2 - 44.
5. Grease Grease the rack and pinion.
6. Calibrate Calibrate the Track Motion according to "Calibration" on
page 2 - 46
7. Correct the drive unit If abnormal noise, correct according to "Check for
abnormal wear and noise" on page 2 - 47.
Correct specific torque on adjusting screws according to
"Mounting the drive unit" on page 2 - 27.
8. Adjust cables and covers Check and adjust cables and covers according to
"Adjust cables and covers" on page 2 - 49.
