Compensation Sensor Short
The ambient-compensation sensor (NTC) on the ASM board in the
autosampler has failed (short circuit).
The resistance across the temperature compensation sensor (NTC) on the
ASM board is dependent on ambient temperature. The change in resistance is
used by the leak circuit to compensate for ambient temperature changes. If the
resistance across the sensor falls below the lower limit, the error message is
generated.
Probable Causes
• Defective ASM board.
Suggested Actions
✔ Exchange the ASM board.
