3 Troubleshooting and Test Functions
Open Cover
The top foam has been removed.
The sensor on the ASM board detects when the top foam is in place. If the
foam is removed, the fan is switched off, and the error message is generated.
Probable Causes
• The top foam was removed during operation.
• Foam not activating the sensor.
• Sensor defective.
Suggested Actions
✔ Replace the top foam.
✔ Exchange the ASM board.
