Security Mode: None
When you initially select Settings > VAP/Security > Security, the factory
default security mode of “None” is displayed in the Radio1 > VP0 window.
Refer to Figure 32.

The fields are defined in Table 31 with Mode set to “None”.
If you select any of these options for the Security Mode, click the SAVE &
APPLY button to save and update your configuration.
Security Mode: WPA Personal (Pre-Shared Key)
When you select the “WPA Personal” Security Mode, the WPA Personal
window is shown. Refer to Figure 33.

Mode None:
Does not perform authentication and encryption. Anyone
can freely connect to VAP.
When choosing “None” for the purpose of preparing a
Hotspot for guest etc., it is necessary to consider the
security of the whole network.
The factory default is “None”.
