SUPPLYING ELECTRIC POWER
WARNING
O Have a qualified electrician make the
necessary electrical connections.
O Before opening the door of the electrical
enclosure, be sure to turn off the shop
circuit breaker switch.
O Before connecting the power cable to the
machine, be sure to turn off the shop
circuit breaker switch.
NOTICE
O If the power supply voltage is different from the transformer and motor
connection voltage shown on the label affixed to the electrical enclosure,
contact AMADA.
O If the power supply frequency is different from the specified serial plate power
supply frequency, contact AMADA.
O Supply electric power to the machine from a source different from those for
welding or other machines that produce electrical noise. Ground the
machine with an independent grounding conductor. If the power cable
conductors and grounding conductor are shared by this machine and a
noise-producing machine, this machine may be damaged. Additionally, the
machine may abruptly stop its operation or may operate improperly. These
conditions can lead to a serious accident.
O Limit power supply voltage variations to within ±10%.
O The apparent power of the machine is as follows:
HFA-250: 6 kVA
HFA-250W: 8 kVA
HFA-400 and HFA-400W: 11 kVA
Install a shop circuit breaker that suits the apparent power.
O Use a power cable of such a size and type as to suit the power supply voltage.
