f) Be sure to confirm that the
area around the machine is
cleared of people and
obstacles every time before
starting the machine or
operation.
g) Never start the saw blade
unless it has been confirmed
that the work is firmly clamped.
If the work cannot be securely
clamped with the vise, be sure
to clamp it using jigs. It is
dangerous if the work is
clamped loosely and forced
out of the vise during cutting.
h) When cutting a thin or short
piece from the work, take
preventive measures to keep
the cut piece from falling. It is
dangerous if the cut piece falls
or rolls.
