Warning: In case the module is found to be working abnormally or
indication of errors appears, please do not use it for
monitoring and should contact the after-sale service center
of the manufacturer as soon as possible.
19.3.2 Starting to Monitor
Please turn to Chapter 3 section 3.3 for detail information.
19.3.3 Shutting Off EMS
Please operate as the following steps to turn off the module correctly
Module Mode:
EMS will be turned off when the host monitor is powered off. Or forced
close the EMS by pressing and holding the power switch for more than 5s.
This may cause some damages to the device.
Monitor Mode:
1. Confirm that the patient monitoring has been finished.
2. Disconnect the cable from the patient.
3. Disconnect all the sensors from EMS.
4. Save or clear the current patients information.
5. Press and hold the power button for more than 1 second.
19.3.4 Standby
The module has standby function, and you may set the module in standby
state for electricity saving or other reasons. Operations are as follows:
In Module Mode:
When host monitor begins standby state, the EMS enters standby state at
the same time.
In Monitor Mode:
Enter main menu and selectStandby. The module enters standby state.
At the time, patient alarm is paused and all waveforms and values on the
screen will disappear, but all settings and patient information are still reserved.
The screen becomes totally black. Standby state can be cancelled by pressing
any key.
