28.4 Viewing Active Faults
A list of all currently active faults can be accessed through the following menu.
Menu: Faults→Status
Multiple faults can be examined by scrolling through the list by means of the front panel keys or rotary
encoder.
28.5 Fault Logging
28.5.1 Viewing the System Fault Log
The system fault log containing all faults logged by the VAR8 can be accessed through the following menu.
Menu: Faults→Log→System
Multiple faults can be examined by scrolling through the list by means of the front panel keys or rotary knob.
28.5.2 Viewing an Amplifier Frame Fault Log
Each amplifier frame fault log can be independently accessed through the following menu.
Menu: Faults→Log→ Frame#<nn>
Multiple faults can be examined by scrolling through the list by means of the front panel keys or rotary knob.
28.5.3 Clearing the System Fault Log
The system fault log can be manually cleared through the following menu.
Menu: ConfigurationÆSystemÆMiscÆClear-Log
The history of the last 200 records will be cleared and a new fault 'LOG CLEARED' logged.
