10.3 Audio Parameter Configuration
To Configure the DVA Input Audio Parameters:
4. Select the DVA input, and then modify the required audio parameters as follows.
5. Define a gain to be applied to the DVA input, in respect of any output to which it may be routed.
Menu: ConfigurationÆSystemÆRouterÆInputsÆDVAÆDVA #<n>ÆGainÆInput
L
The input gain of each audio input should normally be set so that all inputs are balanced,
and give the same output level on each of the outputs.
6. Define the output specific relative gains, if the DVA is desired to have a different gain in a particular
output or outputs.
Menu: ConfigurationÆSystemÆRouterÆInputsÆDVAÆDVA #<n>ÆGainÆOutput
L
• Normally all DVA input gains will be set to ‘balance’ each of the inputs, and the output
gain will be set to give the required level at each output. However, if any DVA input is
desired to have a different gain in a particular output or outputs, then these inputs can
be given a different gain relative to each appropriate output.
• Any output level adjustment should be performed with the ANS function for that output
disabled, as described in Section ”18.2 Output Configuration for ANS Monitoring”.
